Security Manager

Job Summary:

 

As the Security Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading, coordinating, and enhancing our frontline security operations across multiple service areas. You will be responsible for overseeing a high-performing team, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities:​

 

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of security services across multiple locations including Door Supervision, Event Security, and Airport Services.

  • Ensure full compliance with SIA regulations, airport authority requirements, and internal quality standards.

  • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and site inspections to monitor performance, safety, and procedural adherence.

  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of all security personnel.

  • Liaise effectively with clients, regulatory bodies, airport authorities, and internal stakeholders to maintain excellent relationships and address evolving security needs.

  • Implement and monitor Enhanced DBS checks, vetting processes, and contractor onboarding in line with company compliance procedures.

  • Develop and deliver regular refresher training and development programs for frontline and supervisory staff.

  • Handle incidents, emergency response procedures, and escalation processes with professionalism and accuracy.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial security role.

  • Strong knowledge of UK security compliance frameworks, including Enhanced DBS and right-to-work legislation.

  • Demonstrable experience managing airport or high-risk environment security operations (desirable).

  • Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams across varied sites.

  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and incident-handling skills.

  • Security industry certifications or familiarity are highly advantageous.

 

Work Environment:

 

This is a full-time position with a blend of office-based and field-based work. The role may involve visiting various sites to interact with security staff and understand their work environment.

Marketing Consultant

  • Design content strategies for website, social media, email newsletters, and promotional materials.

  • Guide internal teams on branding consistency, tone of voice, and marketing collateral.

  • Analyse campaign performance, generate insightful reports, and refine strategies based on KPIs and ROI.

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends.

  • Support the management team with tailored marketing materials, proposal templates, and pitch decks.

  • Contribute creative ideas for exhibitions, trade shows, and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Consultant or Marketing Manager (preferably within B2B services).

  • Excellent copywriting and content development skills.

  • Experience with brand positioning and storytelling in trust-based industries.

  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver within set timelines and budgets.

  • A creative thinker who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Knowledge of SIA-regulated industries and client acquisition challenges in the security sector is a strong advantage.
